Zoom is one of the most popular collaboration tools used by organizations, schools, and classes around the world. Allows you to hold meetings with your team and can support up to 100 different members simultaneously on a video conference call. Many of us turn to online meetings and participate because of COVID-19 disease. There are a few video conference options to choose from, but “Zoom” is probably our favorite. Read this article on how to join your first Zoom meeting.
You can make a video call with all your team members at the same time and share important directions and requirements for any upcoming or ongoing projects. You can also host audio call sessions depending on your needs and preferences.

Download the Zoom App.
I hope you have installed the Zoom app on your desktop or mobile phone. If not, you can click the links below to download the zoom app and it’s completely free.
Sign in to the zoom app
Turn on the zoom app from desktop or mobile and you’ll find options below. If you’re signing in as an employee of an organization, try signing in with Single Sign-on (SSO). If you are using it for personal use, try to login with FB or Google account credentials.
Joining the Zoom meeting on PC :
Once you login successfully, If there are any meetings already associated with the account, they will display in the meeting tab. You just need to click join.
Joining with the zoom invite:
If you have been invited by the host with his zoom invite. i.e refer to the below example.
Here, you can login by just clicking the zoom link. You will be prompted by the below message.
Click on Open Zoom meetings and click on Join.
After joining just click on join with computer audio for audio connectivity.
Joining with the Meeting id:
Click on join meeting on your desktop or mobile. Below, the dialogue box will appear.
Enter the meeting id and click on join and click on join with computer audio.
Joining the Zoom meeting on Mobile :
Once you have installed the zoom app on your mobile and login to the zoom app. You will see the below interface on mobile.
Here as well, you may click on the zoom link or enter the meeting id and join the zoom meeting.
Once joined, you may set audio as join to computer audio.
What is ‘Waiting for the host to start this meeting’?
If you see a dialog box/dialog box indicating ‘Waiting manager to start this meeting’ it means you have joined the meeting in question before it was due to start. You will see the start time of the meeting by worrying about this warning. When your manager starts the meeting, this dialog box will disappear and you will be able to join the Zoom meeting in real-time.
