Google Meet for Chrome: (Chrome OS 61 or later): (Requires restart)

Step1: Launch Google Meet as you normally would

Step2: Click on the Settings icon in the top-right corner of your chat window.  

Step3:  Next, select Webcam Sharing under “Who can see my screen.”

Google Meet for Windows / Mac: (Requires restart) 

Open Google Meet as you normally would and click the Settings icon. Next, select “Share individual window(s)” under “Who can see my screen.

Google Meet for Android, iOS, Mac OS X, and Windows / Linux: (Requires restart)

Open a Google Meet video call as usual, then tap your avatar in the top-right corner of your video window. Next, select how you would like to share under “Who can see my screen.”

Google Meet Screen Share issues

Listed here are some issues to notice about sharing your screen on Google Meet. For those who have a Chrome tab then the tab’s audio can be turned on by default. 

It’s also possible to present a different tab by choosing that particular one and then clicking Share this tab instead. It’s also possible to view your presentation as a tile by clicking the Unpin choice.

Additionally, do note that in case your camera is turned on then your video will be active while you’re presenting. Once you’re completed with the presentation you can simply click on Stop Presenting to stop sharing your screen.
